About Us (or rather, Me)

PhotoprintingToGo.com is a site that reviews, samples, and explains the world of online photo printing. Ordering prints of digital photos has become a booming business and you can now find sites that offer incredibly low prices per print (like, how's 9 cents each sound)!

But photo printing is more than just cheap digital prints. There are hundreds of photo gifts you can order, from t-shirts to mugs, keepsake boxes, calendars, and photo books. You can store your digital photos online, freeing up hard disk space on your computer, and create online photo albums for sharing with the world or just family and friends.

My name is Leanne Tremblay, owner and publisher of PhotoprintingToGo.com, and I'll be sharing my opinions about photo products and some ideas for creative gift giving.

If I find something I like, I'll tell you. If I don't like something, I'll do my best to tell you why.

I was inspired to create a photo printing site after seeing a friend's photo book of her holiday on the Oregon coast. The Shutterfly book was printed and bound beautifully—something you could have on your coffee table. I had no idea you could create and publish your own photos in such a professional way! (Did I miss a memo somewhere?)

Frankly, I don't have the patience to futz about with traditional scrapbooking. But with digital photo book creation, it's just so darn easy to drag and drop photos into great looking layouts, add captions, and choose colors. I was hooked! In the space of about 30 minutes, you can lay out a beautiful 20-page photo book that is then digitally printed and shipped to your door in about 10 business days.
